I facilitate an online support group for those who have relocated to another country. We discuss the multifaceted experience of migration and all accompanying issues, including feelings of alienation, loss of culture, missing home, the question of what “home” is or means, adjusting to new culture, difficulties with language acquisition, loss of language, isolation, political issues, difficulty making friends and adjusting to new ways of working, as well as practical issues regarding work, bureaucracy, and other logistical matters.
It is an international group. You are welcome to join if you have migrated or are thinking about moving to another country.
We meet every Tuesday at 9AM Vancouver | 12PM noon NYC | 5PM London | 18:00 Stockholm | 19:00 Beirut.
We are always sure to end 5-10 minutes before the end of the hour, to ensure everyone has time to get to their next appointment if they have one, as several group members are also clinicians in the field.
The fee is $50 per session. Sliding scale is available. Please feel free to write me and we can find a fee that works best for you. I never want fee to get in the way of access to treatment.
The group is held in English.
